Teaching children to have a growth mindset and to inculcate resilience in them have become ever so important in this contemporary milieu where they are besiege with constant challenges and changes, in order to thrive in school and life. I think if students innately and genuinely believe that their social and intellectual abilities are traits which can be developed, rather than being in-born, they are much more likely to demonstrate healthy coping mechanisms, sociability and academic achievements. I'm keen to investigate what are some psychological strategies and pedagogical approaches that mental health professionals and educators can employ to help modify and/or nurture students’ mindsets in the school context.
