    Interesting

    in Unit 2

An interesting unit, it took me back to High School days. I was the first in my family to go to University to study to become a teacher. I wanted to be a Textiles / Fashion Designer as I loved Textiles, it was difficult to get into any course. I had an amazing Textiles Teacher who encouraged me to go towards Teaching, but from a very young age I wanted to follow in my mothers footsteps.

University was not promoted back in the 80's, like it is now, but my parents encouraged it a lot for my brother and I to try harder ,for job security, a great future.

I have always believed that struggle whatever it may be will encourage you to try harder and you can do well if you are determined and really want to go there.

A positive role model in your life to keep you going and give you direction is key.
