    Misrecognition

    in Unit 2

During my long teaching career, I have witnessed teachers and parents reinforcing student's apparent lack of ability which is unfortunate. Every student is an individual adapting to life's challenges in varying ways and as teachers and parents we must give every student a chance and encourage them to aspire to achieving the highest goals of which they are capable. Luckily, I have also witnessed great achievements by students whose ability was misrecognized at school.

Thank you for getting involved in the online community. Misrecognition has stood out to many that have completed the course. It is great that you feel so passionately about the topic.
