I find it interesting that students do not share their aspirations with their peers. I wonder whether it is because students do not have any career aspirations when they are at school or is it just not the norm to discuss career options/aspirations with peers.
I also found it interesting that there is not much conversations happening at home with kids about their future aspirations.
This was surprising for me too because I think in my home country, there is likely a different scenario. Well it is worth researching this. However, I thing age may be an important predictor of peers as influencers of aspirations because adolescents and older children confide more in peers than parents. This is an interesting insight for me to explore.
