    After doing this course

    in Unit 6

After doing this course I am grateful for the opportunity to consider the many ways that teachers can influence the future aspirations of students.Teacher expectations and support are so important for students. I now believe that smaller senior schools and all primary schools allow for an environment where teachers and students can have stronger relationships. This can have positive and practical impacts on the career pathways students. I had not thought about primary schools having such a strong influence. I also acknowledge again that a growth mindset comes into play so much when students plan for their future. There was plenty to think about and I believe many teachers would benefit from doing this course from primary to senior secondary levels.
