In Unit 2
I was trying to define the distinction between equitable decision making and misrecognition. That is, how to make adjustments for students' individual contexts without unfairly constricting or "labeling" them. As teachers, we are always trying to make these types of judgements e.g. setting the difficulty of tasks in order to strike a balance between high expectations and students experiencing success. I was wondering if anyone else had any thoughts on this?
